We are committed to helping our clients to achieve their objectives across our four services lines of assurance and advisory, business support services, taxation, not for profit.
What I do at ABS:
As Director at ABS Accountancy, I oversee the planning, organisation, and workflow of our team to ensure smooth operations and excellent client service.
I work closely with both new and existing clients, reviewing accounts, offering strategic advice, and helping businesses plan for long-term success. I also introduce practical, results-driven techniques, such as SSTW (Simple Stuff That Works), to support business growth and improvement.
Alongside our team, I help shape the practice’s strategic direction to ensure we continue delivering high-quality, tailored support.
I hold an AAT NVQ Level 4 qualification and a Level 5 Diploma in Forensic Accountancy. I am a member of the Certified Public Accountants Association and a QuickBooks Certified Advisor.

I founded the business back in October 2013.

Three random facts about me:
I have served in the Royal Navy.
I have Spasmodic Dysphonia (a rare condition which affects the larynx).
I’m also a qualified chef.

What I do at ABS:
At ABS, I’m responsible for onboarding clients, assisting with their bookkeeping, and finalising VAT returns and payroll matters. I’m also the MTD lead within the practice.
I’m also responsible for training junior staff.
I am a FreeAgent Certified Practitioner
I am working towards my AAT Level 3 qualification.
I also have an HND in Business Management.
I also keep Tom in check, so he calls me the ‘boss’.
I write and post on a fairly regular basis as well as handle all our social media presence.

Three random facts about me:
I have three kids, two dogs & 1 husband, which keeps me on my ‘A’ Game.
I love to walk as well as biking.
Enjoy spa days and the occasional races with friends, ultimately enjoying champagne, especially if someone else is buying it!

Running a multi-million-pound empire (a girl can dream) whilst living in North Devon and enjoying the surf!
